Google AdWords will replace ‘delete’ option with ‘remove’

Until today whenever a user clicked on the delete option for a campaign from the Google AdWords, it did not actually mean that the campaign was going to be completely vaporized. The history of it never exactly vanished. Actually, it is not possible to delete a campaign from the account, which was one odd thing about AdWords.

The related historical data always remained available. This feature is good for keeping records, but new users often got confused.

That is why Google has now decided to replace the option ‘delete’ with ‘remove’. This new change is going to be effective in two weeks. Google says that the change is intended to help advertisers understand that removed objects will still be available for reference purpose in future, in case required.

Soft System Solution will soon let you know if there were any specific circumstances that led to the introduction of this change after over ten years of AdWords’ existence.  Follow us on Google Plus
